INTEL Vs AMD : Which is best Processor

We all know INTEL. Almost all the PC in the world mostly uses INTEL processor. But did you know AMD? Rarely few of you know it. But AMD is also an important processor in the market and in some conditions it is better the INTEL. So here we are discussing that which of the two processor i.e. INTEL or AMD is better.

Performance:

Normally for the PCs INTEL have a huge lead over the AMD, but does a processor only used for the PCs? No, processors have vast range of applications. If we have to choose a processor for the PC or Laptop, we choose INTEL processors. Intel processors are more efficient when we have to do multitasking operations and when we use processors for single tasking operations like gaming or work stations then AMD had a lead over INTEL.

Console:

When we are talking about use of these two in console then in INTEL is nowhere in the race, AMD lead the market here. The Xbox 360 has AMD Xenos in it, the WII features ATI (now AMD). Many upcoming console also have AMD in it

Power efficiency:

INTEL had a huge lead in this department, and is much more efficient than AMD’s one. INTEL introduces now 3D transistors in their processors which hugely increase it power efficiency.

R & D:

INTEL is among the top four firm who invest a huge money in R&D. INTEL spend about 19% o its earning on R&D. in compare to this AMD also spend 20%  in R&D but we calculate amount of money, it is $10 billion for INTEL and $1.2 billion for AMD in 2013.

Conclusion:

Surely in the battle of INTEL vs AMD , INTEL is the sure winner and that why it is used word wide. But if we remember few year back from now, nobody knows AMD. AMD is slowly increasing its market especially in the console market. So, maybe few year from now we can see AMD competing INTEL neck to neck.

Complete review of CREATIVE SoundBlaster Roar - Hands ON !!

Complete review on CREATIVE SoundBlaster Roar - Hands ON !!
Creative Soundblaster ROAR
When it comes about the speakers ,the first name that comes into our mind are the emperors of sound and quality namely BOSE , Harman Kardon ,Bowers and Wilkins. These are the brands offering pure sound  quality and also known well for their high quality aspect.

Creative is the another brand that arrives in our mind but that doesn't stacks too longer and miles away to fire up the BOSE space. But the things have changed and the change arrives with Creative's SoundBlaster Roar that truly roared away from our expectations.
Rivaling at this price  you can get the Soundlink Mini or Nova but there's something's different about SoundBlaster Roar for sure and here's what we like and dislike about it.

Design

Roar is portable and if Creative had made it any bigger (andheavier) then TECHCRUBZ wouldn't have been sorting it in the same field as for the Soundlink Mini.Well yes, it is heavy(not a big issue to concern about) but the amount of work that has gone into its construction and development speaks volume about the brand. This one is a big-size rectangular-box[ with grills and sound holes ]apparently visible from all sides and corners giving the viewers a descent look.

The weight has been equally distributed, but we'd suggest you to carry it in a bigger bag.ROAR's efficiency has been recognized by CREATIVE team that is why you'll find metallic parts appearing prominently and the controls have been designed keeping in view the user's comfort zone.

Salient Features

  4. Sound recording.
  5. Phone charging.

These generally are the specs we are looking for in a portable speaker but guys ROAR has got more things into the pocket. It also offers sound recording and phone charging features.a consumer is hardly satisfied with the price he is paying for and keeps on asking more but CREATIVE has changed the ways and providing much more than the expected to the consumers so that's another plus point that adds on to creative side.
[With roar you'll end up saving some space in your luggage with its feature of phone charging.]

Verdict on sound

Now comes the real test basically for which a customer is paying for.Well Even though it's not just a speaker, but the fact remains alive that Roar is still a speaker after all. All the time that we spent with Roar, its multitude features start playing with the box do all talking (or more like playing).

Crisp & classic notes of Clapton, sound-rich psychedelic tracks or even high-on-treble tone of Maiden's Dickinson felt great on Roar saying that this speaker has all the essentially required elements and has proven its matleand marking it as a sole music savior for any occasion won't be wrong.

Roar may be proving itself around all corners but we still missed the BOOM that's a necessity for sure while watching movies .This ends up in hurting the bass equilibrium of a signature D.Guetta track or even simple R&B. For this price, we have no hard issues from Roar, but for people who are in search of deep bass might end up cribbing about it.

Roar- A music saver cum life eater

Every coin has two faces and on the same hand When you have so much power and features entangles in one device, then the first thing that stucks your mind is: how much life does it support? And that's where things start to make for an interesting read. Here's how:
Use Roar as (and only) speaker and you end up spending 4-5 hours juice on single charge & as expected the moment you make use of its charging ability, life reduces two-fold thereby, lasting you for less than couple of hours. But atleat the audio recording option neither hurts your sound experience nor drains up your ROAR.

Thumbs up

SoundBlaster Roar can become your ultimate station for music bonanza. And what add up in your delight are the sound-recording, power charging features. Excellent build quality backed up by sheer delight of sound output.

Thumbs down

While Roar has got the sound, somewhat better bass would have made it an unbeatable device. Battery life suffers due to its all-round capability[THAT was ovio to happen], which may or may not go down really well with the audiences.

Running Android Apps on a Mac or PC

- Monday, 6 April 2015 No Comments
This week Google give the amazing feature of it's user Running Android Apps on a Mac or PC. The Chrome extension " App Run-time for Chrome" (ARC) back in September, Google is expanding its beta project to allow Android apps to run on Windows, OS X, and Linux.

How you Can Running Android Apps on a Mac or PC

You simply need to download the ARC Welder app and obtain APKs from Google’s Play Store.
There are some limitations: only one app can be loaded at a time, and you have to select landscape or portrait layout and whether you want the app to run in phone- or tablet-style. However, you can load multiple apps by selecting the download ZIP option in Arc Welder and extracting it and then enabling extension developer mode to load the folder of the extracted APK. During my testing I’ve found that most apps run really well. There are some exceptions like Gmail and Chrome for Android that throw up Google Play Services errors, but that’s not because ARC doesn't support them. Developers will need to optimize their apps for ARC, and some Google Play Services are also supported right now, making that process a lot easier.

ARC is based on Android 4.4, meaning a lot of standalone apps are immediately compatible. Twitter works well, and Facebook Messenger loads just fine but does continuously say it’s waiting for the network. I was impressed with Flipboard, and the ability to flick through using two finger gestures on a trackpad, and even Instagram works well for casual browsing. Of course, trying to use the camera in apps will immediate force the app to crash, and keyboard commands aren’t always recognized properly. The biggest issue is that most apps are simply designed for touch, or in the case of games to use a phone’s accelerometer.

I tried a variety of games, and while simple titles like Candy Crush Sodawork very well, others refused to launch properly or couldn’t handle mouse input correctly. That’s not surprising for apps that aren’t even optimized, and it’s clear Google’s project has a bright future. While Microsoft is building out Windows 10 and the idea of universal appsacross PCs, phones, tablets, and the Xbox One, Google is turning Android into its own universal app platform. Google already built a way to push Chrome OS straight into Windows 8, and this latest Android experiment brings Google even closer to a PC market dominated by Microsoft. Developers can now run their Android apps on phones, tablets, PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, and even Linux-powered devices, and that’s a big opportunity that will likely result in a lot of these apps arriving in the Chrome Web Store in the near future..

Turning any DISPLAY into a PC

- Wednesday, 1 April 2015 No Comments
Caesar Sengupta reaches into his hip pocket and pulls out a PC. About the size of a cigar, it’s a tiny PC. But it’s a PC. If you plug it into an LCD display or a TV, you can run the sort of software you typically run on a personal computer, from word processors and spreadsheets and email to online video i.e. Turning any DISPLAY into a PC .

This is the Asus Chromebit, and according to Sengupta, it will reach the market this summer, priced at less than a hundred dollars. Sengupta is the Google vice president who oversees Chrome OS, the Google operating system that runs the Chromebit. The device is a bit like the Google Chromecast—the digital stick that plugs into your television and streams video from the internet—but it does more. Google pitches it as something that lets you walk up to any LCD display and instantly transform it into viable computer, whether it’s sitting on a desk in a classroom, mounted on the wall in an office conference room, or hanging above the checkout counter in a retail store or fast food joint.

The device is part of a new wave of machines that use Chrome OS, an operating system built for the internet age. Based on the Google Chrome web browser, the OS is designed for use with internet-based applications such as Google’s Gmail email service and its Google Docs word processor, reducing our dependence on the bulky local software that traditionally runs on PCs, moving tasks onto a cheaper breed of hardware as a result, and, ostensibly, improving security. Over the past several years, Google has pushed its Chromebook laptops and other Chrome OS machines into schools and, to a lesser extent, government agencies and businesses. Now, with several new devices, including a fresh crop if laptops as well as the Chromebit, the company is renewing this push, continuing to challenge Microsoft for control of the rather lucrative business and educational software markets.

Chromebit is really just an extension this idea. Equipped with much the same hardware as a Chromebook laptop, Sengupta says, it’s more powerful than a Chromecast, which just means it’s better at running more applications. Google believes the devices—equipped with an HDMI port—will provide a way of quickly upgrading existing PCs and perhaps even accelerate the rise of computerized displays inside stores and restaurants.
