The current market of the windows phone today are the worst case which Microsoft’s braniacs ever imagined of. They
have been continuously washed by iOS and android. To maintain the market Microsoft
have come up a new game plan which is selling window os for free to many new
partners( Lava and Karbonn). Though it look like a desperate measure as Microsoft
sold the OS to Nokia for 20 to 30$ for each lumia. This clearly shows the
tension developed due to windows
dropping market.

It is still unclear how much this new strategy will work and
be the angel on the shoulder for failing windows phone. The new windows phone
developed by the two domestic company are expected to be launched at the last
of may or june. Free OS have allowed the firms to experiment with it and be
more creative as they have been with the android which is the massive hit. The starting range would be 6,500 to 85,000
for Lava and 6,000 to 12,000 for Karbonn.
As the CEO of Lava International cleared that the new
windows phones will be using Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and feature
windows 8 platform.
