INTERNET EXPLORER SECURITY ISSUES TROUBLING MICROSOFT,NO UPDATES FOR XP USER
Microsoft's tech team is having
a hard time since the announcement of a private cyber security firm that Microsoft's famous browser internet explorer is having security bugs, and many
hackers are already exploiting this bug. Cyber-security firm Fire Eye, which took credit for
identifying the flaw, said hackers were exploiting the bug in a campaign
nicknamed "Operation Clandestine Fox."
"The vulnerability may corrupt memory in a
way that could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of
the current user within Internet Explorer," Microsoft said on its security
website Saturday. "An attacker could host a specially crafted
website that is designed to exploit this vulnerability through Internet
Explorer and then convince a user to view the website."
Trouble for XP user:
PCs running
Windows XP will not receive any updates fixing that bug when they are released,
however, because Microsoft stopped supporting the 13-year-old operating system
earlier this month. Security firms estimate that between 15 and 25% of the
world's PCs still run Windows XP.
Just after HEART BLEED:
It just few
time back heart bleed played havoc among the cyber security people, and now this,
it seem that the cyber security personnel's are having a tough time.
